Ruth, 17 years old and in love, needs money to make her post-graduation get away with Julie. Carol, 14 and in love with math, needs money to get into the school of her dreams. Unfortunately, they both have the same problem—neither girl has any cash. When Carol discovers their mother’s secret cash stash, both girls are set on a trajectory of stealing and leaving the other behind.
