龙凤呈祥(京剧)
Sun Quan (played by An Ping), resentful that Liu Bei (Geng Qichang) has long occupied Jingzhou despite repeated demands for its return, conspires with Zhou Yu (Ye Shaolan) to offer his younger sister, Sun Shangxiang (Li Weikang), in marriage to Liu Bei as a ruse. Their plan is to lure him across the river, hold him hostage, and exchange him for Jingzhou. Zhuge Liang sees through the scheme and decides to turn it to his advantage. He sends Zhao Yun (Wang Ping) to escort Liu Bei, instructing him first to pay a courtesy call on Qiao Xuan (Feng Zhixiao), Zhou Yu’s father-in-law and a senior grand commandant. Qiao Xuan reports the matter to Wu Guotai (Zhao Baoxiu), the mother of Sun Quan, who decides to hold a bride‑viewing ceremony at Sweet Dew Temple. Acting in the interest of the Sun‑Liu alliance against their common enemy, Cao Cao, Qiao Xuan does his utmost to arrange the match, and what began as a trap turns into a real marriage.
