Due to a bureaucratic error, a five-person multicultural student flat share is classified as a family. In order to be able to keep their apartment and flat share in the social housing estate, the Lebanese Tarik (Rolf Sommer), the French Virginie (Julienne Pfeil), the Italian Enzo (Edward Piccin) and Viennese Rudi (Franz Frickel) as a Swiss family, because the official tenant and only Swiss of the shared flat (Gabor Nemeth) is absent when the inspecting officer of the housing cooperative (Viktor Giacobbo) appears for the inspection visit , the foreign students are fighting on different fronts at the same time to stay in the shared apartment A neighbor's blackmailer is making their life difficult and they themselves, with their different nationalities, are also standing in each other's way.The fact that they're auditioning for a TV reality show doesn't make their situation any easier - but it's refreshingly funny.
