In 1964, days after the military coup, entrepreneur Assis Chateaubriand created the campaign “Gold for the good of Brazil”, through which he invited the Brazilian population to donate assets to pay the country’s external debt. By charting an eye over the campaign and the political moment at the time, the film is an analysis about history through the memories of yesterday and today.
