In the small town of Boone, North Carolina, Jonathan Caviness has a meaningful life complete with close friends and a fulfilling career. Yet something is still missing. With an unexpected phone call from Jonathan's high school sweetheart, Elizabeth Stratford steps back into his life. He travels back to his home town Jena, Louisiana to visit her, giving him a glimpse of what it is he might have been missing. But the burning question is, 'Why is she back after all these years?'
