An elderly man whose 15-year-old granddaughter ran away from home writes letters to his wife, who suffered a heart attack because of this incident, to comfort her. In these letters, he writes that his granddaughter has settled in America and is living a happy life. This situation lasts for 15 years. Then one day, his grandchildren call and announce they are coming, and events take a surprising turn.
