After being punished for cheating, Pat and Arun disguise themselves as monks and run away, drifting across the country without money in search of freedom. What begins as a playful escape turns perilous when they are kidnapped, and in the aftermath, Pat is left alone—haunted by the loss of his friend and the fleeting innocence of their journey.
