Detroit band The Supremes toured Ireland in 1981. This film explores the intersection of race, nationality and gender during a time of enormous instability. A photo diary kept by band member Kamau Kenyatta along with contemporary interviews explore the complex themes that emerged, which culminated when the band is robbed at gunpoint at their last gig.
