Traffic on a summer night on the roads of southern Finland, the highways are dusty, the convoys of cars are advancing towards Helsinki, handkerchiefs are flashing on the roadsides. Special trains arrive from the provinces at the Helsinki goods station. The Lotats are feeding the marchers with the help of sopa cannons. Organization on the football field, and then the march begins. A celebration at Senate Square and its highlight, a speech by farmer Vihtori Kosola to the 12,000 participants of the peasant march in front of the president, the government, Mannerheim and the top leadership of the army.
