Guido Monzino (1928-1988), heir to an industrial family, dedicated much of his life to exploration. From the crossing of the Grandes Murailles to Cerro Paine, to the first ascent of Kanjut Sar in 1959, Monzino, along with guides from Cervinia, undertook twenty expeditions around the world. The documentary combines testimonies from those who knew him with images of the expeditions that Monzino himself had filmed by the greatest cameramen of the time, such as Emilio Fantin.
