Tonya is your typical loving, outgoing and curious twelve-year old girl who has questions about her faith, beliefs and religion. She just doesn't quite understand the reasoning behind attending church and having a relationship with God. Her grandmother plays a key role in her exploration into religion and spiritually as she takes her to church during her visits. She searches for the answers and her grandmother tells her the purpose of attending church and having a relationship with God. She understands the explanation of the truths her grandmother has expressed to her but still things remain a little uncertain to her.
