Ophelia Brooks and Patrick Humbert are in their early twenties and they've been dating since junior year of college. Ophelia is from the east coast but she came out to the west coast for school and decided to stay after graduation to be with Patrick. Patrick's family lives in an exclusive and affluent small town called Palm Ridge, where the family is very popular for being so well connected and wealthy.
