The young villager, Metwalli, arrives in Cairo to complete his studies. Metwalli is married to Samira, and his cousin, Kamal, helps him survive in Cairo. The charming dancer, Nana, asks her friend, Dr. Jalal, to give Metwalli a financial reward to help him live. At the same time, Nana falls in love with Metwalli and decides to marry him. He accompanies her to her work at the nightclub, neglects his studies, and is almost expelled from university, so Kamal is determined to save him.
