John Dicks is a famous scandal author. His books, dripping with salacious revelations, reach the highest sales figures. His new book is in preparation. But first he goes on a business trip, accompanied by his attractive wife Christine. The Dicks' house is empty for the time being. Only the servants are still there and are making very active use of their free time. Then the publisher Bob Turner shows up with his wife. They want to stay in the Dicks' house until they return. To make matters worse, the rich shipowner's widow Metaxis appears and tries to prevent the publication of the book by 'any means necessary'.
