Emily and Henry are two elderly actors whose marriage has lasted 45 years. In their modest suburban apartment, they are preparing for the annual highlight of the year, the Academy Awards ceremony. Both hope that their life's work will finally be recognized. When Jeff from the delivery service brings them lunch, they finally have the audience they have been missing for so many years.
