Nafeza A'la Al-Ganna.

An orphan girl from a wealthy family, lives with her depressed, withdrawn father, and falls in love with Tawfiq, a writer in her father's circle. She trusts him, but he misuses this trust and assaults her, steals her father's money, and runs away. Her father only reports the money that Tawfiq stole, but does not report the assault on his daughter. Her baby is born, and she gives birth to her, but she is surprised that the baby is blind and cannot see.
