Elizabeth "Beth" Santos Leal de Carvalho OMC (Rio de Janeiro, May 5, 1946 – Rio de Janeiro, April 30, 2019) was a Brazilian singer, composer, and instrumentalist. Since she began to achieve success in the 1970s, Beth became one of the greatest interpreters of samba, helping to reveal names such as Luiz Carlos da Vila, Jorge Aragão, Zeca Pagodinho, Almir Guineto, the group Fundo de Quintal, Arlindo… Cruz and Quinteto em Branco e Preto.
